RESNET HOME ENERGY SURVEY PROFESSIONAL

Length: 9 Weeks (Standard) / 6 Weeks (Accelerated) / 3 Weeks (Intense)

Course Goals:

This course will teach you all the foundational building energy and construction science to begin a career as a home energy professional. This course includes the RESNET HESP Certification proctored on-site.

 

BPI BUILDING ANALYST & RESNET HESP

Length: 36 Weeks (Standard) / 24 Weeks (Accelerated) / 12 Weeks (Intense)

Course Goals:

This course will cover step-by-step in-depth diagnostic audit procedures for more in-depth home performance audits. This course includes BPI Building Analyst Professional and RESNET Diagnostic HESP certifications proctored on-site.  BPI certified professionals are specialists in their chosen field and are capable of diagnosing critical performance factors in a home that impact comfort, health, safety, durability and energy efficiency. BPI Building Analysts go beyond a traditional energy audit to perform comprehensive, whole-home assessments, identify problems at the root cause and prescribe and prioritize solutions based on building science.

 

SOLAR DESIGN AND INSTALLATION

Length: 36 Weeks (Standard) / 24 Weeks (Accelerated) / 12 Weeks (Intense)

Course Goals:

This course will guide you through the process of installing solar panel systems using the most common installation method, the roof mounting system.  This course also teaches the various critical aspects about solar panel systems with regards to their design and installation.

 

SOLAR SALES / MARKETING

Length: 36 Weeks (Standard) / 24 Weeks (Accelerated) / 12 Weeks (Intense)

Course Goals:

This course shows you everything you need to know about the sales process including finding customers, the different phases of customer contact and how to close the sale.  This course also includes introductory solar panel systems information to help you know your product when you are selling solar.

 

HOME ENERGY AUDITOR

Length: 9 Weeks (Standard) / 6 Weeks (Accelerated) / 3 Weeks (Intense)

Course Goals:

This course will teach you, as a Home Energy Auditor, how to properly evaluate and educate the homeowner on a variety of subjects, including lighting, heating/cooling systems, electronics, appliances and water heaters.  This course includes NEASI Certification for Home Energy Auditor.

 

HEA + SOLAR PHOTOVOLTAIC

Length: 18 Weeks (Standard) / 12 Weeks (Accelerated) / 6 Weeks (Intense)

Course Goals:

This course is the same as HEA and includes introductory to Solar Photovoltaic that will teach you how solar power can help the homeowner control energy expense.  This course includes NEASI Certification for Home Energy Auditor.

 

HEA + WEATHERIZATION

Length: 18 Weeks (Standard) / 12 Weeks (Accelerated) / 6 Weeks (Intense)

Course Goals:

This course is the same as HEA and includes introductory to Weatherization that will teach you how to weatherproof the home to control energy usage.  This course includes NEASI Certification for Home Energy Auditor.

 

HEA + ENERGY RETROFITTER

Length: 18 Weeks (Standard) / 12 Weeks (Accelerated) / 6 Weeks (Intense)

Course Goals:

This course is the same as HEA and includes training to perform the required upgrades to an existing home to increase the energy efficiency.  This course includes NEASI Certification for Home Energy Auditor.

 

WHOLE HOUSE / COMMERCIAL ENERGY AUDITOR

Length: 36 Weeks (Standard) / 24 Weeks (Accelerated) / 12 Weeks (Intense)

Course Goals:

This course includes HEA + Solar + Weatherization along with introducing Energy Auditing for the Commercial environment. This course includes NEASI Certifications for Home Energy Auditor and Commercial Energy Auditor.  

 

WIND ENERGY

Length: 36 Weeks (Standard) / 24 Weeks (Accelerated) / 12 Weeks (Intense)

Course Goals:

This course provides you with a basic understanding of wind systems, including small and utility scale wind projects.

 

SOLAR HOT WATER/THERMAL HEATING

Course Goals:

This course concentrates on the basics of installing code compliant solar heating systems for both water and air heating for the home.

MEDICAL BILLING

Length: 36 Weeks (Standard) / 24 Weeks (Accelerated) / 12 Weeks (Intense)

Course Goals:

After completion of the program, the employment opportunities available are in medical clinics, hospitals, doctors’ offices and other health care facilities such as dental clinics, chiropractic clinics, nursing home facilities and insurance companies.

 

MEDICAL FRONT OFFICE

Length: 36 Weeks (Standard) / 24 Weeks (Accelerated) / 12 Weeks (Intense)

Course Goals:

After completion of the program, the employment opportunities available are in medical clinics, hospitals, doctors’ offices and other health care facilities such as dental clinics, chiropractic clinics, nursing home facilities, and insurance companies, or just a regular office.  

 

NURSING ASSISTANT

Course Goals:

This course prepares the student to take the competency examination which qualifies the candidate for the State certification as a Nursing Assistant to become a Certified Nursing Assistant or CNA.

 

HOME HEALTH AIDE

Length: 36 Weeks (Standard) / 24 Weeks (Accelerated) / 12 Weeks (Intense)

Course Goals:

This course is for students who have passed the State certification and become CNAs. They will receive their Home Health Aide license and then be qualified to work in nursing homes and/or be sent to patients’ homes or other skilled nursing facilities through a registry.

 

ACUTE CARE NURSING ASSISTANT

Length: 36 Weeks (Standard) / 24 Weeks (Accelerated) / 12 Weeks (Intense)

Course Goals:

This course is designed to prepare the certified nursing assistant for employment in acute care facilities, such as surgical, orthopedic, pediatric, and obstetrical units. At the completion of this course, students will demonstrate knowledge of skills required to assist nurses in providing nursing care and service to patients in an acute care setting.

 

RESTORATIVE AND REHAB NURSING ASSISTANT

Length: 36 Weeks (Standard) / 24 Weeks (Accelerated) / 12 Weeks (Intense)

Course Goals:

This course prepares CNAs for employment as aides in restorative and rehabilitation therapy settings. Restorative aides work under the supervision of the registered Nurse. Rehabilitation therapy aides work in the therapy department under the supervision of the therapist in hospitals, long-term care and clinic settings.
