Mission Statement
Advanced Vocational Institute
(AVi) provides quality instruction in computer skills and teaches its students
the skills and discipline necessary to succeed in the workplace. AVi targets the
individual who needs assistance adjusting to the ever-increasing reliance of the
business environment. AVi combines personal student/instructor interaction with
computer-based training to provide each student with the environment he or she
needs to fully realize and retain the information needed to obtain employment.
AVi is committed to the continual education of individuals to prepare them for
the demanding requirements that the modern business environment has placed on
even the standard “entry-level” positions.
Students who take courses at AVi can be assured that their instructor’s main
goal and interest is to prepare them to begin their new life successfully
seeking and obtaining employment in an ever-changing world.

Pursuant to The Private Postsecondary and Vocational Reform Act of 1989, Chapter 7 (commencing with Section 94700) of Part 59 of Division 10 of the Education Code, including Article
2.5 Advanced Vocational Institute is licensed to operate by the Bureau for
Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education (“Bureau”). Approval to
operate means that Advanced Vocational Institute is in compliance with the
minimum state standards and does not imply any endorsement or recommendation by
the state or by the Bureau.
The Private Postsecondary and Vocational Reform Act of 1989
has been replaced by The California Private Postsecondary Education Act of 2009.
